The Green Discovery Chemistry Award, presented by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable, celebrates exceptional achievements by industrial chemists or teams who advance green and sustainable technologies in discovery and medicinal chemistry. The award highlights innovations that have a significant environmental, safety, or efficiency impact on the development of biologically active molecules, including improvements in product isolation, automated and parallel synthesis, non-conventional synthetic strategies, sustainable SAR approaches, and innovative molecular design considering biodegradability. Awardees are recognized at the Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference and are invited to present their work to the broader scientific community.
