Description
The Green Energy Program, managed by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), supports the adoption of renewable energy technologies by providing rebates to Delmarva Power customers across Delaware. Eligible technologies include solar photovoltaic (PV), geothermal heat pumps, solar water heating, wind energy systems, and battery storage (via the Solar + Storage Pilot). The program aims to offset upfront installation costs, stimulate clean energy growth, and ensure high-quality installations through a network of approved contractors. Funding is provided through a small public benefits charge collected from Delmarva Power customers.
