    Description

The Royal Academy of Engineering’s Green Future Fellowship Accelerated International Route (GFF AIR) is a fast-track strand of the wider Green Future Fellowship programme. It supports exceptional academics, entrepreneurs and innovators based outside the UK whose climate projects need rapid progress because of urgency, strategic importance or the risk of missed opportunities. The accelerated application and review process is designed to facilitate relocation and impactful climate innovation in the UK.

The programme supports practical, scalable technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and/or help the UK adapt sustainably to climate change. It gives researchers and innovators across academia and industry long-term support to develop commercially viable solutions and bring them into widespread use. Innovations may begin at any stage, from basic principles through proof of concept, demonstration and application.
