Description
The Royal Academy of Engineering’s Green Future Fellowship supports academics, entrepreneurs and innovators developing breakthrough climate solutions. It provides long-term support to turn pioneering technologies into practical, scalable and commercially viable projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions or help the UK adapt sustainably to climate change. Innovations can enter at any development stage, from basic principles through proof of concept, demonstration and application, but must offer a pathway to widespread use and impact benefiting the UK.
The programme supports the UK’s decarbonisation ambitions and progress towards net zero. Its annual call welcomes UK-based applicants and applicants willing to relocate. The Accelerated International Route offers faster application and review for exceptional overseas talent whose projects require rapid progress because of urgency, strategic importance or the risk of missed opportunities.
