Description
The Green Mountain Fund, administered by the Vermont Community Foundation, supports charitable activities that benefit Lamoille and Orleans Counties and their neighboring Vermont communities. The fund’s focus areas include increasing access to opportunity for low-income youth and families, fostering environmental stewardship, promoting sustainability, supporting Vermont’s climate change goals, enhancing food security and local food production, encouraging community engagement, and improving the health and wellness of children and families.
The fund prioritizes projects where a modest grant can leverage a new idea or additional resources, as well as proven concepts that align with these focus areas. Eligible activities may include general operating support or new/continued programmatic work, provided they fit the fund’s priorities.
