Description
The Green Pastures Fund, administered by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, is dedicated to preserving and encouraging small, community-based agricultural ventures within the Berkshire Taconic region. Established in 1999, the fund supports initiatives such as community-supported agriculture, local farmers’ markets, urban garden programs, agricultural scholarships, cooperative programming, internships, grantwriting, and marketing. The goal is to foster projects that sustain and grow local agriculture and enhance community engagement.
