Description
The Baltimore Community Foundation administers the Greenspring Grant Program in partnership with Greenspring Advisors. It supports nonprofits serving Greater Baltimore, Northern New Jersey, New York City, or South Central Pennsylvania through work that strengthens workforce and economic development, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Workforce funding prioritizes stable, upwardly mobile employment, particularly for underserved communities, through skills training, credentialing, career navigation, and job placement while addressing systemic barriers to economic inclusion. Financial literacy support covers budgeting, saving, debt management, credit, and investing to build responsible decision-making and long-term financial well-being. Entrepreneurship support helps individuals or groups develop, launch, and sustain small businesses or social enterprises, particularly those creating jobs, strengthening local economies, and generating wealth in under-resourced communities.
