Grifols’ Alpha-1-Antitrypsin Laurell’s Training Award supports innovative clinical and scientific research that deepens understanding of the biologic roles of alpha-1-antitrypsin and AATD. It offers early-career clinicians and scientists an opportunity to begin research in the field or build on work already underway.
The award also aims to foster lasting relationships with participating researchers and strengthen their network with Grifols. Projects are assessed for scientific merit, innovation, potential clinical or medical impact, and the quality of the research environment.
