Description
Grifols’ global Investigator-Sponsored Research program supports unsolicited research led by external investigators in therapeutic areas aligned with its interests. The non-Grifols research partner acts as the study sponsor, while Grifols provides support for the work. The program aims to advance scientific knowledge and answer questions clinicians encounter in day-to-day practice.
Studies generally generate hypotheses or provide proof-of-concept data. They may involve pre-clinical research, clinical research conducted in vivo or ex vivo, or retrospective analysis of existing data. Grifols’ areas of focus are immunology, neurology, pulmonology, hematology, infectious diseases, and hepatology and intensive care.
