Description
Launched in 2008 and supported by Grifols, the Scientific Progress Immunoglobulins in Neurology (SPIN) Award supports research into the use of immunoglobulins in neurological diseases. It aims to advance scientific understanding, explore new therapeutic applications, and develop treatment strategies that could improve patient outcomes and standards of care.
The program is particularly interested in innovative research on immunoglobulin therapies in neurology. Proposals may address efficacy, mechanisms of action, safety and tolerability, quality of life, or pharmacoeconomics. An independent Review Committee selects the proposal that best matches the program’s objectives.
