The Experimental Psychology Society (EPS) administers the Grindley Grant to finance travel supporting work within its interests, as defined by the content of its journal. Priority is given to attendance at EPS scientific meetings, with support also available for EPS-supported Research Workshops and non-EPS conferences. The scheme funds meeting-related travel and accommodation rather than direct research costs or registration fees.
EPS postgraduate and retired members can apply, alongside eligible Undergraduate and New Graduate Research Bursary recipients presenting their bursary work. Attendance without a presentation can be supported at EPS meetings and supported workshops. Non-EPS conference support requires both a presentation at the proposed conference and a previous presentation at an EPS scientific meeting. The Society caps the number of awards and reserves the right to pause or close the scheme.
