Description
The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) provides small grants to support Groundwater Festival Programs across Alabama. These grants are intended to help schools and eligible organizations implement hands-on educational events for elementary and middle school students, fostering awareness and understanding of groundwater resources and water stewardship. Funding can be used for educational materials, T-shirts, and supplies for activities such as building aquifers, wetlands, watersheds, and filtration systems, as well as for water cycle demonstrations.
