Description
Springboard for the Arts offers the Growth Fund to help Minnesota artists and creative business owners sustain or scale their businesses. The program addresses a funding gap for creative businesses whose needs may not fit other business development programs or bank and community development financial institution investments. Springboard aims to strengthen local economies and invest in vibrant, just, and equitable communities.
The fund has spring and fall cycles. Applicants identify a business need or growth opportunity that a one-time grant can address. Potential uses include legal and intellectual property costs, branding and marketing, inventory and equipment, staffing or contractors, and participation in trade shows or professional development.
