Description
The Growth Fund is run by Springboard for the Arts to help Minnesota artists and creative business owners sustain or scale their businesses. It addresses a funding gap for creative enterprises whose work falls outside conventional business development programs or whose capital needs do not fit bank or community development financial institution investments. The program invests in vibrant, just, and equitable communities and local economies.
Funding supports practical business needs, including legal protections, branding and marketing, inventory, equipment, space improvements, technology, and staffing. It can also cover participation in trade shows, fairs, markets, exhibitions, tours, conferences, and professional development. The fund operates two annual cycles, in spring and fall, with recipients chosen randomly from eligible applicants.
