Description
The Visiting Fellows and Scholars Program at Harvard Kennedy School’s Growth Lab accepts a small number of visiting scholars each year to pursue common research efforts. The lab combines academic research with real-world policymaking experience to positively impact economic growth. Its research examines how growth comes about, how countries and regions embark on new growth paths, and how individuals can participate in that growth.
Visiting scholars join a multidisciplinary community of more than 60 faculty, fellows, and staff from 20 countries. Most research is collaborative, organized around the Growth Lab’s core research agenda, and most papers are co-authored. The program places particular emphasis on synergies with current research streams when selecting candidates, rather than treating visits as separate, independent research initiatives.
