Description
This award, offered by the American College of Sports Medicine Foundation, recognizes and supports first-generation master’s and doctoral students pursuing degrees in exercise physiology, sports science, kinesiology, sports nutrition, or exercise psychology. The program provides research funding, a year-long one-on-one mentorship with a GSSI scientist, and complimentary registration to the ACSM’s 2027 Annual Meeting. The goal is to empower emerging leaders who are advancing human performance science and breaking new ground in their academic and personal journeys.
