Description
The Guest Scholars Program at the German Historical Institute Washington provides visiting scholars with a supportive base for independent research in either Washington, DC or at the GHI’s Pacific Office at the University of California, Berkeley. The program is designed to foster academic engagement within the GHI’s community, especially for scholars whose work aligns with the institute’s research priorities, such as the history of knowledge (including migrant knowledge) and digital history. Scholars have access to library resources and are encouraged to participate in seminars, colloquia, and other academic events, creating a vibrant intellectual environment.
