Description
The Guest Scholars Program of the German Historical Institute Washington (GHI) offers visiting scholars a supportive environment for independent research at either the main GHI in Washington, DC or the Pacific Office at the University of California, Berkeley. The program is particularly suited for researchers whose work aligns with the GHI’s primary research themes, especially the history of knowledge (with a focus on migrant knowledge) and digital history. Guest scholars are integrated into a vibrant academic community, encouraged to participate in seminars, colloquia, and other events, and provided with access to extensive library resources and workspace.
