Description
The H Foundation NCI Stimulus Awards provide short-term, targeted support to faculty members of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University who are engaged in basic science research. The awards are designed to help promising investigators whose NCI R01 applications have been scored but not funded, or whose competitive renewal applications are near the payline. The primary goal is to strengthen these applications for resubmission by supporting additional data collection, refinement of research aims, or addressing reviewer concerns, thereby increasing the likelihood of securing external NCI R01 grant funding.
