Description

The Hanken Support Foundation provides several grant schemes at Hanken School of Economics for researchers, students and alumni. Support covers conference participation, research visits, pedagogical studies, professional education abroad and activities such as data gathering that promote research and teaching. Doctoral support includes full-time studies at Hanken and travel for courses, tutorials, colloquiums and stays at foreign universities or research institutes.

The programme also supports faculty research sabbaticals abroad to advance internationalisation and faculty development, as well as inviting guests to Hanken. Other schemes fund German, Spanish and Portuguese language courses and economics and business summer schools in specified European countries. Seed funding aims to improve the quality and number of research funding applications and encourage collaboration across subjects.
