The Hanna H. Gray Fellows Program, offered by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), is designed to support exceptional postdoctoral scientists poised to become future research leaders in the basic biological and biomedical sciences. The program provides up to two years of financial support, professional development, and personalized guidance to facilitate the transition from postdoctoral research to an independent faculty position. Fellows benefit from salary/stipend support, additional research funds, and access to HHMI's vibrant scientific community. Upon securing a qualifying faculty position, fellows may be appointed as Freeman Hrabowski Scholars, further advancing their academic careers within the HHMI network.
