Description
The Harrell Family Fellowship, administered by the American Center of Research (ACOR), helps graduate students cover essential expenses associated with archaeological projects or research in Jordan. It supports participation in ongoing field or study projects as well as independent scholarly research. The award provides partial support for students whose costs are not already largely or entirely borne by their project.
The fellowship is funded through the Harrell Family Trust, established by the family and other donors, with income restricted to student travel scholarships. It continues the Harrell family’s longstanding connection with Jordanian archaeology and ACOR, giving other students opportunities to benefit from the projects and educational efforts the center supports.
