Description
This fellowship, co-sponsored by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) and the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin, is designed to support advanced research in eighteenth-century studies that makes significant use of the Ransom Center’s unique collections. The program aims to advance scholarship by providing resources and support to researchers holding a PhD or equivalent degree, enabling them to conduct in-depth, on-site study at one of the nation’s premier humanities research institutions.
The Ransom Center's extensive holdings span literature, photography, film, art, performing arts, music, cultural history, and more, offering a rich environment for interdisciplinary research projects. Fellowship projects must require substantial on-site use of the Center's collections.
