This annual award recognizes and celebrates full-time tenured faculty at the University of Nevada Las Vegas whose research is both highly regarded and directly responsive to the needs of Nevada and its communities. The award honors research that drives economic development, addresses social challenges, or advances significant scholarship in an academic field. Recipients are acknowledged at the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony and receive a $10,000 stipend.
