Description
The HD Human Biology Project, led by the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA), is a flagship initiative funding innovative, investigator-initiated research aimed at understanding Huntington’s disease (HD) biology in humans. Emphasizing the use of patient samples, clinical data, and collaborations with HD clinics or Centers of Excellence, the program seeks to generate insights that can inform therapeutic development or improve patient care. Projects must be directly relevant to human HD biology, with a strong preference for translational approaches, biomarker development, and pilot-scale clinical or experimental medicine studies. Early-career investigators and those new to HD research are especially encouraged to apply.
