Description
The Mayo Clinic Headache Fellowship is a one-year, UCNS-accredited clinical training program focused on advanced management of headache and facial pain. Fellows receive hands-on procedural experience—including Botox and ultrasound-guided injections—and rotate through specialty areas such as pediatric headache, neuro-ophthalmology, psychiatry, and pain medicine. The program provides over 20% protected research time, allowing fellows to pursue scholarly interests with mentorship from nine core faculty. Graduates are eligible for the UCNS Headache Medicine Certification exam and may pursue further certification in ultrasound-guided procedures.
