Description
The Health and Aging Policy Fellows Program develops professionals who can translate scientific knowledge and clinical experience into policy that supports a healthy, productive future for older Americans. Its National Program Office is based at the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University. Fellows may work on global, federal, state, community, or institution-based policy concerning health care and other dimensions of aging.
The program offers residential policy placements and non-residential policy work with shorter placements. Additional tracks focus on behavioral health, family caregiving, and VA policy. Fellows receive policy training, mentoring, and career development.
