Description
The HealthCare Research Call, run by la Caixa Foundation, supports applied research into healthcare interventions that promote health and prevent disease. Its goal is to generate robust evidence about how interventions are designed, delivered and evaluated, improving people’s health and wellbeing throughout life. Proposals should address real-world health issues, use rigorous and validated methodologies, incorporate multidisciplinary professional perspectives where relevant, and demonstrate a clear pathway to scalability.
The call supports preliminary pilot studies, retrospective evaluations of existing interventions, and the development and evaluation of new interventions. Areas of interest include mental health, women’s health, child and adolescent health, nutrition and healthy lifestyles, healthy ageing, and management of chronic conditions. Other topics are eligible when they meet the call’s intervention-focused scope.
