Description
This opportunity funds community-based organizations to implement evidence-based interventions that improve birth outcomes and reduce infant morbidity and mortality among minority women in North Carolina. The program aims to address persistent racial disparities in infant mortality by supporting innovative, community-driven strategies that serve women during pregnancy and their children up to two years post-delivery. Priority is given to agencies serving counties with the highest minority infant mortality rates and disparity ratios, but all public or private nonprofit agencies statewide are eligible to apply.
