Description
The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) Healthy Incentive Grant for School Districts helps Oklahoma public school districts create healthier learning and working environments. It incentivizes district wellness committees, comprehensive tobacco-free and wellness policies, and promotion of approved TSET-funded healthy lifestyle and tobacco cessation brands. These practices support healthy habits among students, teachers, staff and families.
Funding supports one project per award that addresses local school health needs. Examples include cafeteria improvements, hydration stations, playgrounds, walking trails, physical education equipment, school gardens and health education programs. Planning and design work and construction-ready projects are eligible. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis for applications meeting all requirements, subject to available funds and TSET Board approval.
