    Description

Healthy Kids, an initiative of the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, invests in community-driven solutions that improve children’s health from before birth through young adulthood. It supports work in the clinical, community, educational, and home settings that shape well-being, strengthening supports for children, youth, families, and caregivers.

The program prioritizes projects that can inform policy, influence systems, or offer models others can implement, expand, and adapt across Michigan. Proposals should advance equity, reduce health disparities, and incorporate lived experience into project design, development, and delivery. Its 2026 priorities are access to care and support, maternal and infant health, nutrition and physical activity, and integrated models connecting multiple priorities.
