Description
Four County Community Foundation administers Healthy Seniors/Healthy Youth Grants and Healthy Futures Grants using tobacco settlement funds. These grants support projects that promote the health of seniors and young people, with priorities including health and nutrition, family counseling, smoking and vaping prevention and cessation, and mental health care.
The program is part of the Foundation’s work to address current and emerging community needs in southeastern Lapeer County, western St. Clair County, northern Macomb County, and northeastern Oakland County, Michigan. The Foundation prioritizes projects that address needs inadequately served by existing resources, generate other funding and community resources, encourage organizational collaboration, and directly benefit its service area.
