    Description

The Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) Research Fellowship Scholarships support emerging investigators beginning careers in cardiac electrophysiology. The program combines a research project with additional training under a senior sponsor or mentor, helping fellows develop toward independent research careers. HRS will award several scholarships for the 2027–2028 cycle.

Supported work includes basic, clinical, epidemiological, community, and outcomes research within cardiac electrophysiology. Projects must advance the Society’s goals and research on heart rhythm disorders. For more than 40 years, the program—formerly the HRS Research Fellowship Awards—has supported research training as part of HRS’s mission to improve patient care through research, education, and healthcare policies and standards.
