Alpha Phi Foundation’s Heart to Heart Grant supports medical researchers and community advocates working to lessen the impact of heart disease in women. Established in 1993, the annual program continues the Foundation’s cardiac-care priority, adopted in 1946, by funding clinical research and community education initiatives across North America.
The Clinical grant supports traditional bench and clinical research, including medical breakthroughs, early screening technology, and clinical trials specific to women’s biology. The Community grant focuses on engagement, education, and programming rather than research, including grassroots outreach, CPR training, and survivor support networks. Both categories prioritize projects that directly address women’s heart health through care and education.
