The Health Effects Institute (HEI) is seeking qualified contractors to provide quality assurance (QA) oversight for a portfolio of environmental health research studies. This initiative aims to ensure that scientific data supporting HEI-funded research is valid, reliable, and precisely reported—particularly for studies involving human subjects or those with regulatory significance. Selected QA contractors will perform audits of ongoing studies and final investigator reports, focusing on compliance with QA/QC protocols and the reproducibility of reported findings. Audits contribute to the transparency and impartiality of HEI’s research, which informs public policy and regulatory decisions in environmental health.
