Description
This program, a collaboration between Heidelberg University and Harvard University, funds research stays for Harvard scholars at Heidelberg (1 to 21 months) and supports joint academic events such as workshops, lectures, and conferences. The initiative aims to deepen institutional partnerships, promote innovative and cross-disciplinary research, and boost the international visibility of both universities. Grants are available through two mechanisms: the Strategic Partnership Grant (for larger, long-term projects) and the Explorer Seed Fund (for smaller-scale or exploratory collaborations). Funding is provided by the State of Baden-Württemberg’s Global Partnership in Science program.
