Description
The Helmholtz Association’s Doctoral Award recognises the scientific contributions of doctoral researchers at its Centers, particularly their role in addressing pressing societal challenges. The programme forms part of the Association’s commitment to inspiring talented young researchers early in their careers and supporting the development and advancement of scientific excellence.
Helmholtz Centers select and nominate candidates, assigning their doctoral research to a research field and award track. Track B also offers an additional Field Study Fellowship to help winners explore the application potential of their research through customer interviews and market research.
