    Description

This call supports collaborative, high-risk/high-gain research projects that advance imaging science and foster integration with information and data science within the Helmholtz Association. Projects should address challenges across scientific domains, promote methodological innovation, and encourage synergy across imaging modalities and applications. The program aims to stimulate the development of novel imaging methods, facilitate method transfer between disciplines, foster inter-center and industry collaboration, and empower early career researchers or young investigator groups. Selected projects receive not only financial support but also scientific/technical consultation, support for cloud deployment and open-source dissemination, access to advanced computing resources, and increased visibility through the Helmholtz Imaging CONNECT database.
