Description
This funding opportunity supports collaborative, high-impact research projects that advance imaging science within the Helmholtz Association. The program emphasizes methodological innovation across the imaging pipeline—from data acquisition to advanced analysis and knowledge extraction—and seeks to foster synergies between imaging and data science. Projects should be cross-disciplinary, involve at least two Helmholtz Centers, and may include external partners. In addition to funding, selected projects receive scientific and technical consultation, support for cloud deployment and FAIR research software, access to computing resources, and opportunities for open-source dissemination and increased scientific visibility.
