Description
This program, funded by the Helmholtz Initiative and Networking Fund, aims to accelerate imaging science by supporting collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects involving multiple Helmholtz Centers. The call encourages research that advances imaging methodologies, fosters synergies across imaging modalities and scientific domains, and strengthens links between imaging and data science. Projects may span the entire imaging pipeline, from data acquisition to knowledge extraction, and are expected to drive methodological innovation and promote the transfer of techniques between disciplines. Selected projects receive not only financial support but also access to scientific and technical consultation, cloud deployment resources, open-source dissemination support, specialized computing infrastructure, and knowledge-sharing platforms within the Helmholtz Imaging ecosystem.
