Description
The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation’s Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards support the research and teaching careers of talented early-career faculty in the chemical sciences at primarily undergraduate institutions. The program recognizes independent faculty who demonstrate leadership in original scholarly research of outstanding quality, substantially carried out with undergraduates, alongside innovation in and dedication to undergraduate education.
Awards recognize the connection between research achievement and a compelling commitment to teaching. Selection considers outstanding educational efforts, research accomplishments with undergraduate collaborators, and service to the wider community in chemical education. Recipients are designated Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholars and receive flexible research support that can also help expand departmental research and educational activities.
