Description
The Henry Gray Distinguished Educator Award is the American Association for Anatomy’s (AAA) highest education award. It recognizes achievement in human anatomy education across the anatomical sciences, broadly defined to include gross anatomy, embryology, histology, and neuroanatomy. Teaching at the medical and dental, graduate, and undergraduate levels falls within its scope.
The award recognizes educational achievement rather than funding a specified research project. Nominations document a record of teaching, scholarship, and service and are reviewed by a committee appointed by the AAA president.
