Description
The Henry Gray Scientific Achievement Award is the American Association for Anatomy’s (AAA) highest scientific honor. It recognizes unique and meritorious contributions to the anatomical sciences by a distinguished AAA member. Rather than supporting a proposed research project, it honors scientific work already completed; three representative papers form part of the nominee’s materials.
The award brings the recipient’s achievement to AAA’s scientific community at the 2027 Anatomy Connected Meeting. The recipient receives a plaque at the Closing Awards Ceremony, along with meeting registration and eligible travel reimbursement. A committee appointed by AAA’s president reviews nominations.
