Description
The Henry Hanff Fellowship Award is a short-term educational fellowship sponsored by AO North America through AO Trauma North America’s Named Fellowships program. It supports practicing North American trauma surgeons undertaking an immersive experience at an AO Trauma clinic in North America or Europe, with stays of four, six, or eight weeks.
The fellowship was created to give trauma surgeons an opportunity to travel and work directly with a particular AO professor. It is named for Henry Hanff, a long-time AO North America trauma faculty member who taught AO Principles extensively in North America and Western Europe. The award centers on clinic-based education, with applicants describing the work, clinical skills, host location, and intended use of their training in their fellowship proposal.
