Key Information: Artist fellowships support research only, with no studio facilities; Hertfordshire projects must relate to Henry Moore.
The Henry Moore Foundation’s annual fellowship programme gives artists and researchers time and access to specialist resources to develop their work and expand the understanding and scholarship of sculpture. Fellowships at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds support a broad range of historic and contemporary sculptural topics, drawing on its Research Library, Archive of Sculptors’ Papers and the Leeds Sculpture Collections. Research at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens in Hertfordshire focuses specifically on Moore’s life and work.
The programme includes Visiting Research Fellowships for academics, curators and Moore researchers, Artist Research Fellowships supporting visual arts practices through research into sculpture and its histories, and longer Senior Fellowships for established scholars. Fellows use the Foundation’s research facilities with accommodation and an allocation for travel and subsistence expenses.
