Description
The Heritage Collections Research Fellowships provide postdoctoral scholars in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences with the opportunity to conduct collections-based research at the University of Edinburgh. Fellows gain privileged access to the University’s extensive Heritage Collections, which include archives, art, manuscripts, rare books, musical instruments, and more, spanning over four centuries. The program is hosted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) and encourages interdisciplinary engagement, collaboration with the Centre for Research Collections, and public engagement activities. Fellows join a vibrant international community, benefit from dedicated office and library space, and are expected to contribute to the intellectual life of IASH through seminars, events, and collaborative projects.
