Description
The Heritage Trust Fund, administered by the Kansas Historical Society, provides competitive matching grants to support the preservation, rehabilitation, and restoration of historic properties throughout Kansas. Eligible projects include professional services (such as architectural and engineering fees) and construction costs directly related to the preservation of properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Register of Historic Kansas Places, or identified as contributing properties within registered historic districts. The program aims to safeguard Kansas’s architectural heritage by empowering local governments, non-profits, private individuals, and qualifying for-profit entities to maintain and restore significant historic sites.
