Description
High Five is a once-a-year program of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia that connects donors with specific needs of local nonprofit organizations. It supports unique, tangible items and projects beyond an organization’s operating budget—the extra things that enhance its work and mission. The Foundation shares approved requests through its High Five Catalog, and donors choose which projects they would like to fund.
The program aims to strengthen local nonprofits by connecting people who care with concrete needs in Central Georgia. Creative, compelling and innovative requests have the best chance of attracting support. Donors are generally drawn to unusual items or requests directly tied to an organization’s mission, and smaller requests are more likely to be funded.
