Description
The Highland County Community Fund (HCCF), a local affiliate of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), awards annual grants with donor support and in partnership with FAO. The grants support nonprofits, schools and public organizations carrying out projects and programs that benefit Highland County residents and communities. Earnings from the fund’s invested endowment gifts support its annual grantmaking.
The program advances opportunities across five “Pillars of Prosperity”: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. Its emphasis is on supporting individuals of all ages who are spearheading projects that create opportunities, meet pressing needs and unleash potential within Highland County.
