Established by Joe L. Roby and Hilppa A. K. Roby, this scholarship provides full-tuition support for undergraduate students from Finland enrolling in Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts and Science in Nashville, Tennessee. Featured by the Fulbright Finland Foundation, it supports students with demonstrated financial need through tuition funding, travel assistance between Finland and the United States, and a one-time summer educational experience.
The summer stipend can support study abroad, a research investigation, or another approved experience beyond regular coursework. Recipients are also automatically considered for the separate Fulbright Finland Partnership Award with Vanderbilt University, which offers Foundation services and activities through its own review process.
