The Hip Society’s Rothman-Ranawat Traveling Fellowship supports an educational tour for emerging leaders in hip surgery. Fellows travel throughout the United States and Canada for four to five weeks, culminating at Current Concepts in Joint Replacement (CCJR) in Orlando, Florida. The program welcomes surgeons from around the world who have demonstrated an interest in advancing hip surgery through clinical or laboratory research, publications, and presentations.
Inaugurated in 2013, the fellowship honors Richard H. Rothman, MD, PhD, and Chitranjan S. Ranawat, MD, preserving their legacy of innovation, education, and research in arthroplasty. Individual and corporate donors to The Hip Society’s Fellowship & Research Fund make the program possible.
