Description
The Historic Preservation Fund Grant (HPF), administered by the Tennessee Historical Commission (THC), provides matching grants to support projects that document, plan for, or restore historic properties and cultural resources across Tennessee. The program aims to advance the goals of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, with a strong emphasis on projects that offer significant public benefit—such as architectural surveys, preservation planning, and restoration of properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Funding priorities are aligned with the State Historic Preservation Plan, and at least 10% of funds are reserved for Certified Local Governments (CLGs).
