Description
The Hitchcock Foundation Pilot Research Grants provide funding for pilot projects in any area of biomedical science, including basic, translational, clinical, and population-based research. The primary purpose is to help investigators—particularly early career researchers and those new to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center or Dartmouth College—develop preliminary data that will strengthen future applications to national funding agencies. The program prioritizes well-conceived, independently designed proposals from junior faculty, fellows, residents, and those who have not previously secured external funding, with special consideration for projects in clinical and pre-clinical research.
