Description
The Hitchcock Foundation Pilot Research Grants provide funding for innovative pilot projects in biomedical research, including basic, translational, clinical, and population-based studies. The primary objectives are to help researchers generate preliminary data for future applications to major national funding sources, foster research among early career investigators and those new to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center or Dartmouth College, and stimulate clinical research within the institution. The Foundation places strong emphasis on independently conceived, well-written proposals from early career investigators, especially those designed as pilot studies that will underpin future, externally funded research.
